Deleting a Rule
You are able to delete a barcode parsing rule from the Barcode Parsing Rules page.
Feature Requirements
In order to delete a barcode parsing rule, the role of the logged-in user must have edit access to the Barcode Parsing feature.
How to Delete a Rule
To delete a barcode parsing rule:
- Select the Delete icon to the right of the rule .
- A prompt appears, Delete Rule?, asking you to confirm that you want to delete this rule.
- Click Ok to close the prompt, delete the rule, and return to the Barcode Parsing Rules page. If you do not want to delete the rule, click Cancel to close the prompt, keep the rule, and return to the Barcode Parsing Rules page.
Applying the Change in IntelliTrack Mobile
After a rule is deleted, apply the change in IntelliTrack Mobile:
- IntelliTrack Mobile RF: when the user logs into IntelliTrack RF, the barcode parsing rules are applied. To apply any changes (such as deleting a rule), the user must log out and then log in again.
- IntelliTrack Mobile Batch: when the user logs into IntelliTrack Mobile Batch, the barcode parsing rules are downloaded during a data download. After downloading the data, the user must then log out and log back into IntelliTrack Mobile Batch to apply any changes (such as deleting a rule) to the barcode parsing rules.
